Embedded Fring On Samsung Omnia HD

The Samsung Omnia HD is a fully multimedia ready device, able to show (near) high def content on the screen and fully HD stuff out of it’s HDMI hole. Now with Fring embedded out of the box, it shows the handset is ready to give the best chatting experience too.

Fring’s CEO Avi Schecter said: “This announcement demonstrates a major mobile device manufacturer embracing the social potential offered by mobile internet. It also illustrates fring’s recognition of the potential for mobile to go beyond communications and become the most powerful social & community device, delivering unparalleled community experiences for the end user, even beyond what the PC had been able to offer.”

It isn’t the first time for Samsung to do this, the i8510 Innov8 was another handset to take advantage of Fring, but the fact that it is becoming the norm, as well as a service which can be rolled out to other Series 60 powered handsets in due course is very exciting.
